Super Nintendo World
The park's biggest draw is Super Nintendo World, a fully built-out recreation of the Mushroom Kingdom, complete with a Mario Kart-themed ride and interactive Power-Up Bands that turn the whole zone into a light physical game as you move through it. It's consistently the park's longest queue, so it's usually the first decision of the day.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
A full-scale Hogsmeade and Hogwarts Castle anchor the park's other major land, with the Forbidden Journey ride inside the castle itself and butterbeer stands scattered through the village. It rewards slowing down and wandering as much as queueing for the ride.
Planning your day
USJ is genuinely a full-day commitment, not a half-day add-on. Timed-entry passes for the most in-demand lands, and express passes that let you skip standby queues, are worth understanding in advance if you only have one day here — arriving right at opening makes a bigger difference to your day than almost anything else you can do.
Getting there
The park sits in Konohana ward, reached via Universal City Station on the JR Yumesaki (Sakurajima) Line, with a direct transfer from Nishikujo — itself a short ride from Osaka Station.
