Why start small
We'd rather launch a small guide that's genuinely useful than a huge one that's thin everywhere. Today, that means a handful of departments — planning, where to stay, districts, things to do, food, culture, day trips — each opened with a few solid, real pages rather than dozens of empty stubs.
What's live at launch
Every department on the site currently has at least two full guides in it, covering the questions we think matter most to a first-time visitor: how to get here and around, where to base yourself, what the main districts actually feel like, and what to eat.
What's next
New pages go up regularly — we're aiming for at least one update a week, often two or three, as departments grow from a handful of pages into full directories. Villas-style depth for hotels, a full run of Osaka's wards and suburbs, and a much longer food list are all on the roadmap.
