Districts grew by two: Nakanoshima, the museum island in central Osaka, and Den Den Town, the city's electronics-and-anime district in Nipponbashi. Things to Do picked up a Nakanoshima museums guide to match. Food added ramen and the story of conveyor belt sushi, invented in Osaka in 1958. Culture added a guide to sento bathhouse etiquette, and Day Trips reached Arima Onsen — the guide's first hot spring town. Plan also picked up a practicalities guide covering visas, cash and staying connected.
Where things stand
Districts and Things to Do are both filling out well beyond the original launch set. Stay is the department that's grown the least so far and is next in line for a deeper pass — more neighbourhoods, more of a look at specific hotel types and price points.
