Getting there
Koshien Stadium sits in Nishinomiya, between Osaka and Kobe, and is reached directly via the Hanshin Main Line to Koshien Station — a straightforward ride of well under an hour from central Osaka, with the stadium a short walk from the platform.
Tickets
Tickets can be bought online in advance or, for less popular matchups, sometimes at the stadium on the day, though games against the Tigers' biggest rivals sell out well ahead of time. Advance booking removes the uncertainty if a specific date matters to your trip.
What to expect
Even with no baseball knowledge at all, the atmosphere carries the experience — coordinated chants for individual players, the seventh-inning balloon release, and a crowd energy that's closer to a football match than the more reserved image baseball sometimes has elsewhere. Stadium food is also a genuine part of the experience, with plenty of Kansai-style stadium snacks on offer.
