Shirahama Beach

Shirahama sits around two and a half to three hours from Osaka via the JR Kuroshio limited express, which makes it a long but doable single day if you commit to it early, and a genuinely relaxing overnight if your schedule allows — one of the few trips in this guide where staying over changes the pace of the visit rather than just adding travel comfort.
